
SAA e-Air waybill - Domestic waybills by EDI.

As forerunner to the IATA e-Freight Project (Paper Less) initiative SAA has introduced their e-Air waybill EDI processing system hosted by Caspnet, who operate as a CCS.
If you are an account holder of SAA you qualify to register and start using the e-Air waybill system as of 01/04/2006.
In addition to Caspnet's E-Air waybill system, accessible on the Caspnet Portal, Caspnet are proud to offer E-Consolidator, their latest addition to their product range. The E-Consolidator system was designed specifically for the courier industry.
Complete a CTR (Cargo Transportation request) on the web submit to Caspnet who will assign a SAA Cargo waybill number to you. Then do the Barcode, attaché to the package and send to SAA Cargo. In return SAA Cargo will respond and send you 5x FSU’s:
- Received for Shipment
- Manifested
- On Board
- POD
- Discrepancy if encountered
Should you use a service provider urge them to consult with Caspnet who will provide to them an interface to their system through which you will be able to continue processing your domestic waybills as normal.
